I just didn’t feel like it.We usually put the second tree in the kitchen, but we’re having a big new table delivered in there and I just wanted to leave the extra space empty to move around in while I’m setting up and enjoying the new table..
I cringed a little when Kennedy insisted on the multi-colored light.The rest of the house, though, is decorated within and inch of it’s life and I’m loving it all.I can let Kennedy have the tree..
So I sat back and bit the head off an innocent little gingerbread man and watched her do the whole thing herself.. And Chris left the tree so tall that the angel literally touches the ceiling..I hate to say it, because I love a good well-planned tree, but I really like it.
It actually doesn’t look terrible, it just looks eclectic.
Maybe my little helper has learned a thing or two about decorating, and maybe I have too!.With the cost of them, it just didn’t seem like the smartest investment right now..
I started thinking about other natural materials that I could use to get a similar look.And guess what I came up with.
